Convalescent Scheme Application Process

To apply for our convalescent scheme, simply apply to the Secretary for an application form. For current and former Cotton Textile Manufacturing employees who have worked in the industry within the last 40 years

Scholarships/ Bursaries for Cotton Textile Students

We offer Scholarships/ Bursaries to students pursuing a career in the textiles industry.
Apply now to Leeds University for the BSc Textile Innovation & Sustainability course (a 4 year course) or University of Glasgow MPhil Textile Conservation course

Cotton Textile Manufacturing

Former members of the Lancashire Textile Manufacturing Association (LTMA) can also apply for a subsidised grant for health and safety training.

Supporting Former Cotton Workers through Convalescence: Helping Families in Times of Need

We believe in supporting former cotton textile workers and their families. Through our Convalescent Scheme, we provide financial assistance covering the cost of much needed respite and travel expenses.
